Seattle Summer Music Events You Cant Miss
We are very excited this Seattle summer for the fabulous music, concerts and festivals. Being in the Northwest, we are lucky to have several options where to catch a great show – whether it’s local or you make a weekend trip of it. Here are some ideas of shows you can’t miss and will surely make for an amazing summer!
May 27-30: The Gorge
Spend your Memorial Day weekend at The Gorge in George by participating in Sasquatch Festival. The event features four fully packed days of music with performances from some of the world’s hottest artists, including Major Lazer, Chet Faker, The Cure, Florence & the Machine and about a hundred more! May 28-September 16: Chateau Ste. Michelle, Woodinville
This summer concert series has it all! Sip award-winning wine while listening to Earth, Wind & Fire, Bonnie Raitt, Counting Crows & Rob Thomas, Don Henley and more that you are sure to enjoy! Winery tours are also available on concert days, as well as tours of the tasting room and grounds. Be sure to get your tickets, as shows are selling out fast!
June 3- September 1: Marymoor Park Concert Series, Redmond
Check out Marymoor Park for a summer-long string of weekend shows, featuring The Lumineers, Weezer and 90’s hip-hop celebrations with Salt-N-Pepa, Color Me Badd, Coolio and many more. The food and beverage provider, Seattle Event Solutions, has a long and successful track record with pairing great food and drinks such as: Wood Shop BBQ, Veraci Pizza, Street Treats, Plum Burger, Caravan Crepes and Grilled Cheese Experience.
June 30-August 24: ZooTunes Concert Series, Woodland Park Zoo Seattle
BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru is back for another season of outdoor concerts, a fun Seattle tradition celebrating more than 30 years of entertainment! Enjoy live music from today’s talent in blues, soul, folk and rock performing against a beautiful outdoor backdrop at the zoo’s scenic North Meadow. Some acts include: The B-52s, UB40, Weird Al Yankovic and Brandi Carlile. Two beer gardens are available, serving a selection of wines and microbrews as well as yummy food and snacks.
July 8-10: West Seattle Summer Fest, SW Alaska St. & California Ave, Seattle
Start at Alki Beach and then head to West Seattle Summerfest to enjoy a beer garden, dining, shopping, giant Jenga and approximately 24 amazing Seattle acts playing over the weekend. This is the 34th annual Summer Fest, which features free, live music and fun activities for all! There is diverse music such as rock, hip hop, metal, blues, electric and more – with headliners including Grace Love & the True Loves and Tacocat.
